Chinese restaurant

I was disappointed in the sun hing. I've not been there to dine in for a long time, but it was once a regular place for family gatherings and the atmosphere back then was great. Not this time. The food was nice however did not like the way it was just thrown onto the table by the server who looked like he would rather be anywhere else than there. Very scruffy and abrupt. Cutlery was not clean. Prices were reasonable.

What a gem of a place, authentic ambience, great friendly staff and the food is to die for. Definitely worth the visit, oh and can't forget the fried ice cream.....

We have had a string of unfortunate experiences with this take away, most common is waiting forever for late orders, despite phoning ahead, followed by incorrect orders, simple mistakes many times and most recently we’ve ordered and $97 worth of food, and we had a surprise surcharge of $1.46 to pay by debit card. Listen up, almost all customers pay by card, businesses enjoy the reduced risks associated with cash. This business has failed to negotiate 0.7% fee, and instead are making their customers pay 1.5%. I feel that you should disclose this to customers when they are ordering, your remaining customers will appreciate you telling them. Then you try and offer free prawn crackers for being such a great customer and giving you bigger orders, we didn’t feel like we are appreciated as customers at all.-2 stars for the string of errors & delays, -1 star for hidden charges for almost all customers.I’m sorry, but for us that is the last straw, we like your food, we like the MSG taste, but we are now done.Please update us if you fix this error as we will be back but only then, maybe do some advertising to win back your old customers

The food was delicious and the service was great, overall a delightful place to go with family or just to enjoy a nice meal.

Good Singaporean food, great service and quick too. Only blemish was the fried ice creamWhich wasn’t fresh and very ordinary.All else was good. Staff is super nice

Came here for Mother's day which i reserved 3 weeks ago. The lady did not greet us when we arrived so I told her we have a reservation. We waited. Then she served four other families who arrived after us. Was it because the other customers were Westerns and we were Asians? Unsure why others were served but we got nothing. Not a single smile or welcome or please wait".We had no choice but to seat ourselves as she ignored us the whole time and the place was filling up. We helped ourselves in finding the menu and served ourselves drinks.I tried to place an order but the same waitress ignored us multiple times. Thankfully a young man served us and the food is good. First impression lasts

Very smart and stylish ambience with plenty of elbow room for a more relaxed dining experience. I'm not a connoisseur of dim sum so cannot comment more than I enjoyed what I had. Service was efficient and friendly. I came on a week day.

Always great food, better than other restaurants. Great fast service and never disappointed. Worth a visit.

I ordered lobster yi mien (noodle) it was super delicious and reasonably priced, lobster $58 per pound. Other dishes were big portion too.Good service. Traditional decor. Highly recommend!
